Kelp Marine, is goodness and attraction in a pop up.
This one has had some comments on the bank side when its been seen - 'oh, a green pop up' or 'that's different' and 'it smells like the sea' among them.
The colour itself - Green, chosen because it is a rarity to see, but it seems only in the UK we use all these bright and fluroescent looking colours but never green. Our European cousins are and have been using green for ages and do well with it, so here we are. Does it work? Yes it does. Great to top off a darker bait too.
The flavouring. You may notice the surface is NOT uniform, its bumpy from using ground down kelp and seaweed particles, this is backed up with the natural attractor, Spirulina, a great crap attractor. This in itself will attract the smaller underwater life to feed on it, which in return will tempt the carp to feed, so its the best of both worlds. If you know about Spirulina then you will also understand the health benefits for the carp. The liquids used are two forms of shellfish helping to round it off, smelling like a day at the seaside.
Tip: great during the early part of the year when carp wake up, and also good during autumn. Worth keeping in the armoury for sure.
Kelp Marine is available as a 12mm or 14mm pop-up bait, and comes in an almost pea green colour.
IncQbait pop ups are created with industry standard pop up mix powders, natural additives and essential oils where required.
